Definitions

AAA Executive Cars Limited (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”) is a Company with registration number 12118501 whose registered office is 3 Barrett Court, 70 Cardiff Road, Reading RG1 8ED, United Kingdom. We operate the taaaxi.com website and Mobile application and provide taxi services in Reading, UK. You and your refer to any person or entity who uses the app to book a taxi.

Booking

Passenger Capacity and Luggage

You are responsible for ensuring the requested vehicle has enough space for your passengers and luggage. We recommend specifying the number of passengers and luggage pieces when booking to avoid any inconvenience.

Travel Time

Allow sufficient time for your journey, considering weather, traffic conditions, weather forecasts, and potential delays beyond our control. We are not liable for delays or missed appointments if you are not ready at pickup.

Flight information

Provide accurate arrival time and termination information, especially for Airport pickups. We are not liable for inaccurate arrival information provided by Airlines. We will check for flight delays, but we cannot be held responsible for early and delayed flights. You are still responsible for payment unless you notify us in advance of a cancellation.

Quotes and Changes

We will provide you the quote based on the information you give us at booking. We reserve the right to adjust the quote if there are significant changes to your booking without prior notice.

Booking information

You are responsible for any delays or quotes arising from inaccurate booking information provided by you.

Call recording

We may record calls for quality assurance purposes to ensure the best possible service.

Prices and Payment

Airport Pricing

All Airport prices are based on one pick-up and drop-off location. However, additional stops will incur extra charges, which will be communicated before the stop.

Additional charges

Parking charges, tolls, and drop-off fees are not included in the quoted price and will be added to your final fare. You will be informed of any expected charges before the end of your journey.

Airport Waiting

Airport Pickups include 30-minutes waiting period after the flight lands. After 30 minutes waiting time will be charged at an hourly rate depending upon the vehicle type. All these rates will be available to you before booking a ride.

Payment methods

We accept both Card and Cash Payments. Your credit/debit card will not be charged until the journey is complete. Your card details may be required for long-distance journeys as security for the driver. Moreover, we reserve the right to request identification from passengers paying with Credit or Debit cards.

Cancellation

Please contact AAA Executive Cars Limited as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking. The sooner you inform us, the better we can manage our resources and potentially reassign the driver to another job.

Cancellation fees

The Cancellation fee associated with your booking will depend on the notice period before your scheduled pick-up time. The policy outlines the specific fees applicable based on the cancellation time frame.

  • Cancellation with more than 24 hours’ notice - No cancellation fees apply.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours but before 5 hours of pick up - A Cancellation Fee of 10% of the quoted fare may apply.
  • Cancellation within 5 hours of pick up, or if the driver is already dispatched - A Cancellation fee of 30% of the quoted fare may apply.

Note

  • Advance Payment is only applicable if the customer books his/her ride from Reading to outside Reading areas.

Refunds

Refunds are offered at our discretion following a written complaint about the services provided. If a refund is approved, we will refund the original payment within 48-72 hours.

Conduct

Vehicle Cleanliness

Smoking, Drinking, and eating are not allowed in the vehicles to maintain a clean and pleasant environment. An additional fee will be charged if the passenger soils the vehicle.

Passenger limits

We can only transport passengers for booked jobs. We cannot accommodate ride-sharing requests.

Passenger responsibility - You are responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in the vehicle during the journey. You will indemnify AAA Executive Cars Limited against any losses, expenses, or damages caused by a passenger you are responsible for.

Termination

We have the right to terminate or refuse the booking if the driver feels at risk of abuse or violence from you or any passenger. No refund will be given under these circumstances if the trip is terminated mid-journey.

Liability

Luggage

All luggage is carried entirely at our own risk. We recommend travel insurance for valuable belongings.

Extenuating Circumstances

We have the right to cancel the services and provide refunds due to Extenuating Circumstances Beyond our control, such as War, National Emergency, Riots, or Terrorist Attacks.

Vehicle Breakdown

In case of a vehicle breakdown, we will try to arrange an alternative vehicle to get to your destination as soon as possible. We are not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages resulting from the breakdown of the vehicle.

Miscellaneous

Subcontracting

AAA Executive Cars Limited may subcontract its obligations under this agreement to provide taxi services. However, we will remain responsible for the overall quality of the service provided. You cannot assign, transfer, or delegate any of your rights or obligations under this agreement.

Data Protection

AAA Executive Cars Limited takes the protection of your data seriously. We comply with all the applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our detailed privacy policy, located within the APP and on our website taaaxi.com explains how we collect. Store, use, and disclose your data.

The data we collect

We collect personal data that is necessary to process your booking such as your name, contact information, pick up and drop off locations, and travel preferences. In some cases, we may collect additional data such as your card details for long-distance journeys.

Data use

We use personal data to process your booking, provide customer service, send you information about your booking, and improve our services.

Data storage

We will store your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your Rights

You have various rights under data protection regulations, including the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your data. You can also object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.
